Chien-Wei (Steve) is from Taiwan and Iris is from China, but they fell in love on the other side of the world, in Pittsburgh. They both attended the University of Pittsburgh and met through a local church on the dumpling party day! How fun is that?! It didn’t take them long to realize how perfect they were for each other and Chien-Wei proposed after dinner one night in Pittsburgh. This shoot by Breanna Elizabeth Photography has a perfect blend of modern architecture and beautiful gardens. I think you’re going to love it!
From the photographer: “The University of Pittsburgh was an obvious choice for Iris and Chien-Wei’s engagement session, because the campus holds so many special memories for them. It is the reason they both ended up in the same city and ultimately, found each other. We ended their session at the Hillman Library, where Chien-Wei and Iris shared some of their favorite memories. Like many students, their schedules are busy, so their dates were often spent studying together in this building. These images not only capture their love but tell their story. What a sweet way to share their relationship with friends and family for years to come. Images were shot at Schenley Park, Mellon Institute Library, Cathedral of Learning, and the Hillman Library.”
