We’ve featured shoots from North Carolina State University before but this session includes areas of the campus that are completely new to me! This is why I love shoots at university campuses! There are always so many options and you’re bound to walk away with beautiful photos, like Bona and Traylor did. Enjoy these images by Will Greene Photography!
From Bona: “Choosing NC State’s campus was an easy decision for us- we met on Hillsborough Street, got engaged at the Belltower, both are alumni of the University and are avid Wolfpack fans. We even found our amazing photographers, Will and Diana, by Googling “NC State engagement photos”. Traylor and I met at the Wells Fargo on Hillsborough Street, where he was a personal banker. My dad has been receiving collection notices for a late fee on an account that I had closed at the bank, so I went to the branch on my lunch break to pay my debts. Traylor greeted me at the door, decked out in a red blazer and red and white bowtie in preparation for the NC State vs. UNC basketball game later that evening. He proceeded to win over both my renewed business and my romantic interests, and I left the bank an hour and a half later with two new accounts and a date. While the proposal was a complete surprise, I was not at all surprised that Traylor chose to do it at the NC State Belltower. I was a student-athlete for the Wolfpack and still work for the University, and as it is both of our alma mater, many things we do revolve around NC State. The proposal went down last December, on our way to a charity event downtown. Traylor convinced me that we should stop off on Hillsborough Street for a quick photo in front of the Belltower. Since it was on our way, I didn’t think too much of it. When we got to the location, I turned away and set up the timer on my iPhone to take our photo. When I turned around, he was down on one knee with a beautiful solitaire diamond ring. While my favorite memory from campus is probably getting engaged there, I think we would both argue that many of our best times together have been cheering on the Wolfpack at Carter-Finley (which technically is off campus). We were even fortunate enough to take some of our engagement pictures in the stadium and on the field.”
