Dahlgren Chapel Wedding

DC weddings have a way of bringing me back to my college years when I was a student at GW. I have such a soft spot for this city and I dream of shooting a wedding there some day. But for now, I’ll have to just swoon over this lovely wedding sent over by the talented Casey Hendrickson Photography. It’s everything a DC wedding should be!

From the photographer: “Alex and Tim began working together, and really just hit it off. As much as they tried not to fall for each other since everyone says you shouldn’t date coworkers, they really couldn’t help it. As time went on, their hearts knew this was something meant to be, so they dove right in! Their wedding day was filled with nothing but love, and they were surrounded by so many wonderful friends and family near and dear to their hearts. They chose to marry at the same place they’d had classes together – at the Georgetown University. Alex even said she’d been mentally taking notes about exactly where she wanted to snag photos on their big day because she was so excited about the gorgeous architecture all over! Before they walked down the aisle, these two sent little love notes and gifts to each other to make the day sweeter. They kept it classy with their navy dresses and tuxes, and Alex even had some of family heirlooms with her. After these two had tied the knot, we all headed out in a limo bus around the DC area, and made pit stops at the monuments along our way to the reception!”
